Note! This guide is for transferring a backup through cPanel. If you're using any other control panel please find the appropriate guide.
In order to transfer a full backup to another server, please follow these steps:
1- Login to cPanel.
2- Click the Backup icon in cPanel home.
3- Click on Download a Full Website Backup.
4- Select Remote FTP Server (Passive mode transfer).
5- Enter the email address, where you want to receive a notification, when full backup of your website has successfully transferred as full website backup takes time to generate
6- In the remote server field, enter the address for your website's FTP server. For example: ftp.rackset.com
7- Next, Enter the username and password associated with your hosting account. At the time of sign-up you have received an email with this information.
8- Port number for FTP connection should be 21.
9- Click on Generate Backup
